Rosses Point Public Realm Enhancement 

Part 8

Sligo County Council proposes to carry out works consisting of public realm enhancement works at Rosses Point village, County Sligo (Td Rosses Upper) including the following:

• Public realm enhancement works on the L3309  (opposite the Driftwood restaurant) and at the junction of the L3309 and the R291(opposite the existing shop and cafe) involving narrowing and reconfiguring of the carriageway and enhancing provision for pedestrians.
• Narrowing and reconfiguration of the junction at the L3309 (Infront of the County Sligo Golf Club) and the R291.
• New and enhanced crossing points on the R291.
• Provision of a two-way cycleway along the R291 as it passes through the village.
• Signing and lining of parallel parking spaces along the R291
• Associated site development works

Plans and full particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection on the SCC consultation portal (under Materials, top right of this screen) from Thursday 23^rd November 2023 to Thursday 21^st December (both dates inclusive). 

Alternatively, the plans may be viewed during office hours at City Hall, Quay Street, Sligo and are available for purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy from Thursday 23^rd November 2023 to Thursday 21^st December (both dates inclusive). 

Submissions

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made here by clicking on “Make a submission” (top right of this screen)  not later than 4pm on Monday 15^th January 2024.

All submissions will be redacted if necessary (to comply with GDPR) and made available for public viewing on this portal. Late submissions will not be taken into consideration.
