The Programme is a funding partnership between the European Union, the Governments of the United Kingdom and Ireland,
and the Northern Ireland Executive and will be administered by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

Sligo County Council has been developing a Co-designed Local Community Action Plan which will be funded under PEACEPLUS Programme

(subject to approval).

Under this plan, a  programme of activities will be delivered across County Sligo over the period 2024-2027.

We asked, and you told us that our plan should include projects that bring people together and break down barriers through nature, history, music, storytelling, food, fashion, film, crafts, and so much more. These projects aim to bring people together and break down barriers.

We have been speaking to people about what they they would like to see supported.

The projects below are being developed based on these conversations. They have not been fully approved and might change.

As much as possible, the programmes will be put on where you are. It should not cost you anything to take part except your time.

You can take part as an individual or as a community.

We’d love to know what you think, and what you might like to take part in.

Please tell us what you might be interested in so we can deliver the programmes where they are wanted.
