NOTICE UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT PART 8 ARTICLE 81 of the PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001, (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to carry out the following works:

Construction of 15 dwelling units comprising 7 houses (2no. 2-bed, 2 storey semi-detached houses, 4no. 3-bed 2 storey semi-detached houses, 1no. 4-bed 2 storey detached house) and 8 apartments (4no. 1-bed apartments in 1no. 2 storey block, 4no. 2-bed apartments in 1no. 2 storey block), and all associated site works including connection to existing services at Connolly Park, Tobercurry, Co. Sligo.

Sligo County Council has concluded from a preliminary examination, that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and that an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is not required. Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of this notice, apply to An Bord Pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the proposed development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment (i.e. requires an EIA).

Plans and full particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection, or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, on line at consult.sligococo.ie or by prior appointment at the Main Foyer, County Hall, Riverside, Sligo and the Main Foyer, Teach Laighne, Tobercurry, Co. Sligo from Tuesday 13th April to Wednesday 12th May 2021 (both dates inclusive). 

COVID-19 Protocols applicable at the time will be in place in the foyer of County Hall and Teach Laighne in terms of social distancing and self sanitizing procedures before and following any review of the Part 8 document that are on display. Any amendments to public access to County Hall and Teach Laighne during the inspection period will be advised on www.sligococo.ie.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and development of the area in which the development would be situate, may be made on-line by registering on the consult.sligococo.ie portal or in writing and submitted to  the undersigned not later than  4.pm on Wednesday 26th May 2021
