NOTICE UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001, PART 8 (ARTICLE 81) (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that Sligo County Council proposes to carry out works consisting of new paving and public realm works at Main Street and Cliff Road, Enniscrone. The proposed works include the following:
Alterations to existing road widths;
New road carriageway paving;
New footpath paving, kerbs and dished drainage channels;
Traffic calming measures;
New hard landscaping including bollards, benches, planters, flagpoles;
Interpretative signage;
Planting of trees;
All associated site development works.
Sligo County Council has concluded from a preliminary examination, that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and that an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is not required. Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of this notice, apply to An Bord Pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the proposed development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment (ie. requires an EIA).
Plans and full particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection, or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, on line at consult.sligococo.ie ormay be viewed by appointment only at County Hall, Riverside, Sligo from Tuesday 10th November to Tuesday 8th December 2020 (both dates inclusive). COVID-19 Protocols will be in place in terms of social distancing and self sanitizing procedures before and following any review of the Part 8 documents on display.
Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made on-line by registering on the consult.sligococo.ie portal or in writing and submitted to the undersigned not later than 4.pm on Wednesday 23rd December 2020
